What is the Lion’s Homes?

Lion’s Group Homes Operates homes for Special Needs Individuals. We are located on a 125 acre farm setting just minutes form Belleville Ontario. Lion’s Homes have been an approved program since 1979, governed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

THE PURPOSE OF THE HOME IS: to provide a home for those with special needs who would not otherwise have a home due to family problems, difficulties in foster home placements, or other deficits which makes these placements impossible, etc. Our Homes provide a family living experience for individuals under the guidance, direction, and supervision of qualified, experienced and concerned staff. Our staff are experienced professionals with a proven track record of caring for adults with special needs. Lion’s Homes staff are accredited in a wide variety of disciplines, such as, Child Care Workers, Social Services Workers, Developmental Service Workers, and more. Lion’s Homes are leaders in Behavior Management Programs in the areas of Communication, Neurological Disorders, and Developmentally Challenged Persons.
